CMHC SCHL Logo with red caret symbol meant to look like a roof and a red maple leaf between CMHC and SCHL below

website - CLH-ESN platform - CLH toolkit

These elements were created as part of a larger project called “Creating Affordable Community-led Housing Through a CLH Ecosystem Support Network” with funding from CMHC's Housing Supply Challenge "Getting Started" Round. However, everything written and expressed here are our own personal views and CMHC has no responsibility for them. This project was done in partnership with Killick Ecovillage Co-operative (formerly Coho NL Community Development Inc., which was the original name on the grant). We are also super grateful to have benefitted from the outcomes of an earlier CMHC-funded Solutions Lab called "Affordable Housing+: Solutions in an effort to shift the affordable housing baseline" completed by Wendy Reid Fairhurst with Fundamental Inc. and MarsDD.

Future Skills Centre - Centre des Compétences futures logo with the words on the right and the logo on the left consisting of three horizontal black lines with a bit of pink at the start of each line and bright green at the end. The top line is off-centre to the right slightly and the bottom line is smaller making it look like the lines are all stepped.

scaling up the CLH-ESN platform in NL

Our project "Strengthening Community-Led Housing Collaboration in NL" was funded through the Community Housing Transformation Centre's (CHTC) Local Sector Transformation fund to improve organizational resilience and to help foster housing innovations in Newfoundland and Labrador, building on our work for a national CLH-ESN knowledge-sharing and peer-to-peer collaboration space. This work focuses specifically on our local context, giving more groups access tothe toolkit and online platform, and building more place-based tool solutions.
